FASHION! FASHION! FASHION! is my drug next to my BIBLE. hahaha *weirdo*. This article is about the evolution of fashion from the 19th century to the 21st century (proud to be from the 21st century). Fashion design is the art of application of design and aesthetics or natural beauty to clothing accessories.

  

The first designer to have his label sewn into the garments he created is CHARLES FREDERICK WORTH in the 19th century. Next to him was PAUL IRIBE ,GEORGES LEPAPE,ERTE AND GEORGE BARBIER.

I am sure that it must have cost a fortune...... beautiful piece.

 

In the 20th century, fashion began to crisscross international boundaries with rapidity. Popular western styles were adopted all over the world. Fashion at the end of 20th century tackled themes that fashion had not previously embraced. These themes included rape, religious violence ,death and body modification.

 

 

 

21st century designers looked to the past inspiration, vintage clothing, especially from the sixties, seventies, and eighties. Fashion designers often sought to emulate bygone styles in their collection. designers began to adopt more colorful, feminine, excessive and 'anti-modern' look.
